Charlotte Allen
Charlotte has been teaching school for the past 27 years and coaching cheerleading for last 26 of them. Over the years, her squads have won numerous local, regional, and state championships and have been finalists and runner-ups at NCA Nationals. Because of her accomplishments in this area, she and her squads have helped produce and participate in such events as the Outback Bowl, the Orange Bowl, the Hula Bowl, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin, Ireland, and the Down Under Bowl in Australia.
For the past 10 years, she has been named Who’s Who Among High School Cheerleading Coaches by American Cheerleading magazine and has been featured in several magazine issues. American Cheerleading Magazine chose her as one of the top cheerleading judges in the USA and honored her in 2008 for the Outstanding Achievement in Cheerleading Hall of Fame. She also received the Pinnacle Award for outstanding service and accomplishments in cheerleading from CheerLTD.
Charlotte has been a cheerleading and safety judge at all levels of competition for top National cheerleading companies such as NCA, UCA, COA, WCA, ACDC, CheerSport, UPA, AmeriaCheer, ACA, CheerLTD, America’s Best, JamFest, Champion Cheer, and Final Destination. She judges internationally and was given the highest honor in cheerleading when she was selected to judge Cheerleading Worlds in 2006, 2007, and 2008.
She is presently the AL State Director for The National Council on Spirit Safety Education (NCSSE) which educates coaches across the USA, as well as foreign countries. In November 2006, Charlotte traveled to England and taught NCSSE courses and certified approximately 400 coaches in cheerleading and safety.
The Matrix is honored to have Charlotte working as our Cheerleading liaison, coordinating camps and clinics for local schools and squads, squad cheerleading training, and pom choreography! Her hard work secured The Matrix our first NCA Commuter Camp, scheduled to be held June 20-22, 2008!
Charlotte is married and currently lives in Lacey’s Spring, AL.
