Current Job Openings:
Tumbling & Trampoline Coach (Recreational): Coaches must be at least 18 years of age and have experience in tumbling, trampoline, and/or cheerleading. The Matrix prefers coaches who are USAG certified, but is willing to split the cost of the certification. Hours/week= 25-30 coaching hours. All coaches of the Matrix are expected to fall into weekend rotations of birthday parties, open gym, and special camps and clinics. Hourly pay and salary ranges are dependant upon experience, certifications, references, and total coaching hours.
NEW! Cheerleading Coach: The Matrix is currently looking for a cheerleading coach with experience in squad training. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age, have experience cheering at the high school and/or college level and a gymnastics background is preferred. Also, references are required and a submission of previous routines and/or choreography will be required before a live interview will be conducted. NEW! Coaching Manager: Candidate must have solid experience (2+ years) in managing coaches, developing schedules, managing absences, vacations, and fill-ins. This manager will also be in charge of scheduling Open Gym staff, finding coaches for Birthday Parties, and staffing all special events. Coaching experience is a plus and if applicable, this person will help develop the yearly curriculum for recreational classes. This person will also work closely with the Operations Manager on other projects and fund raisers. All applicants should have a background in gym or fitness management and will be asked to interview with several people before being considered. You must be a motivator, a leader, a counselor and "doer". This fast paced job will definitely keep you on your toes! Salary range will depend on previous experience. NEW! PlayCare Attendant (8:30am-11:30am M-F) The Matrix is looking for responsible, energetic, personable, well-rounded individuals who love to work with children! PlayCare is a program that allows parents to work out while leaving their children in a safe and fun environment!
