Gym X 1 (Entry Level/Beginner)
The proper fundamentals and gymnastics techniques will be taught. A base for continuation in the sport and an introduction to physical development is created. Expect your child to learn the basics of Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, Floor Exercise and Vault. Participants will begin the journey to strength and flexibility.Gym X 2
Gym X 2 classes are for athletes who have shown enough strength, coordination, and body awareness to begin training all artistic apparatus with more advanced skills. Our coaches will be happy to evaluate anyone wishing to enroll in our gymnastics program to ensure correct class placement.Gym X 3 and Gym X 4
Gym X 3 classes are for athletes who have shown enough strength, coordination, body awareness and have MASTERED all the Gym X 1 and Gym X 2 skills on all apparatus. Our coaches will be happy to evaluate anyone wishing to enroll in our gymnastics program to ensure correct class placement.Recreational tumbling and CHEERLEADING classes for boys & girls
Beginner 1 (Ages 6 and up)
We created this class for athletes who are BRAND NEW to tumbling who are over the age of 6! This will give our coaches the ability to continue progressing with the athletes in the established Beginner classes and let our brand new athletes work at their own pace in their own class!Beginner (Ages 6 and up)
This class is for athletes who are still working on rolls, handstand forward rolls, handstands to bridge, bridge down to an 8" mat, and cartwheels, basic body position jumps and drops on trampoline.Advanced Beginner (Ages 6 and up)
Athletes must have MASTERED Beginner skills and working on 1-arm cartwheel, round-off, bridge down kick-over on flat surface, front limber, and back limber.Intermediate (Ages 6 and up)
Must have MASTERED all Beginner and Advanced Beginner skills and is working on front and back walkovers, aerials, round-off back handspring(s), standing back handspring, front handsprings, front tucks.Advanced Intermediate (Ages 6 and up)
This level has been created to bridge the gap for those athletes who have mastered all the Beginner, Advanced Beginner, and Intermediate skills and who are working running tumbling passes including whips, layouts, multiple backhandsprings, BHS/BT, and front and back running tumbling. This class will also prepare athletes for twisting skills and moving up to the Advanced level (twisting front and back passes, standing full, double fulls, Arabians, etc.)Advanced (Ages 6 and up)
Athletes must have mastered a standing back handspring and round off back handspring without spot on all surfaces to enter this class, will work on drills for standing back tucks and tucks after running tumbling. Progression will move into fulls, double fulls, whip progressions, layout step outs, and elite skillsSkill Specific Recreational Classes (Ages 6 and up)
Acrobatics (Ages 6 and up)
Acrobatics will concentrate on skills usually useful in jazz and lyrical dance. This includes aerial cartwheels, aerial walkovers, walkovers, various rolls and "tricks"Specifically designed for the tiniest tumblers who still need a parent or a little helping hand to feel comfortable in class, the Whiz Kids Under 3 program focuses on enhancing locomotive skills, balance, hand/eye coordination, entire body strength, as well as, kinesthetic awareness. This class is best suited for tiny toddling gymnasts through age 3. Once an athlete reaches the age of 2, the coach will help transition your child if they are ready to start entering a Whiz Kids 2 class on their own!
Whiz Kids 2 Year Olds
Whiz Kids need to be age 2 by September 1st to enroll in this class. Specifically designed for the tiniest tumblers, the Whiz Kids program focuses on enhancing locomotive skills, balance, hand/eye coordination, entire body strength, as well as, kinesthetic awareness. Like a school year, athletes remain in this class through May.Whiz Kids need to be age 3 by September 1st to enroll in this class.
